Got a Panel Quote? Get a Free Second Opinion Before You Sign.

A panel upgrade is a big decision, and quotes for the same job can vary a lot — in scope as much as in dollars. Sometimes a higher quote is carrying work the job genuinely needs. Sometimes it isn't. Either way, you deserve to know which one you're holding before you sign anything.

Elevate Utilities will review your existing panel quote free, in writing, and tell you straight: fair as written, missing something important, or carrying work you may not need.

How it works

  1. Text us two things — a photo of your panel (door open if you can do it safely — never remove the cover) and a photo or screenshot of the quote you received — to (530) 515-6924.

  2. We review it like we'd bid it — scope, panel size, permit and inspection, utility coordination, and whether anything in it looks unnecessary or missing.

  3. You get a written second opinion — what checks out, what to ask the other company, and, only if you ask, our own quote for the same work.

What we check

  • Is the panel size right for your home and what you’re adding (EV charger, heat pump, ADU, hot tub)?

  • Are permit, inspection, and utility disconnect/reconnect actually included — or likely to surface later as extras?

  • Is anything being replaced that doesn’t need replacing?

  • Is anything important missing — grounding, surge protection where it matters, code-required updates?

  • Does the timeline promise hold up? (In most cases, power is back on the same day on a standard residential changeout — but no honest contractor guarantees it for every job.)

Our promise

  • Free, in writing, no pressure. If the other quote is fair, we'll say so — you'd rather hear that from us than wonder.

  • No obligation to switch. The opinion is yours either way.

  • We never badmouth another contractor by name. We talk about the quote, not the company.
